TE-A specialise in residential and workplace sectors, designing homes and offices for domestic, commercial and design-conscious developer clients.
Our approach is both iterative and collaborative, with conversation, sketching and modelling central to the design process. We design spaces that are beautiful as they are functional, encouraging flexibility to their use which adds depth and value to our projects.
We find solutions to complex briefs and challenging sites; be it a tight urban infill plot, a highly protected conservation or rural area, or a defined internal space for conversion. We navigate through statutory requirements and approvals and engage with our clients across the full project lifecycle, from concept and feasibility to technical design, tender and support during construction.
TE-A practice across London and the south east, with a particular focus in south and west London, through the suburbs to Kingston upon Thames and Guildford, Surrey. Our work is prepared by experienced architects and designers led by founder Thomas Evans.
Tom is a RIBA Chartered Architect. Educated and commended at the Bartlett School of Architecture UCL, he has worked at a number of practices in London and Paris before founding TE-A in 2009. Tom is actively involved in every project at the Practice.
